Dimensional Graphics was started in 1990 with one goal in mind; to create and furnish unique custom home designs, graphical and web content. From an early age I have always had a love of art both in graphic design as well as architecture. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1993 with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree, thanks to the support of my now wife Melissa, family members and many, many friends.

For more than 20 years I have professionally practiced in the field of graphical and web design services and continue to do so. I currently work for one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the south (PBK) in the marketing department. However, as of seven and half years ago I started designing homes due to my love of architecture and have been working with local independent builders . I use the latest in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software which gives me an added advantage over other home designers by allowing me to show 3D models and elevation changes on-the-fly to my clients as the house is being designed. However, this software offers many, many other advantages over the traditional 2D CAD programs that are still so widely used today. One major advantage is material takeoffs, the software allows for the creation of material takeoffs and pricing therefore cutting down on waste and in the end saving you money. With the program being a BIM-based software, it also allows me to input inportant information about the different systems running within the house. This allows the owner to know when various systems are due for maintenance or routine services. Another advantage is solar analysis. The software is able to run a sun animation of your current site allowing for a placement of the house to utilize natural lighting. This cuts down on energy costs while maintaining ample lighting and provides a open and relaxing atmosphere.

I am currently working towards getting my NCBDC certification as well as my LEED Green Associate and LEED AP Homes certifications and plan on completing these over the next couple of years.
